Tired of digging through menus in After Effects to run your favorite scripts? Save yourself time by running Ae scripts with Nimble Buttons, a dockable, customizable UI Panel where you can quickly add .jsx scripts as buttons to run them with a single click.
You can save your selected buttons and toggle between horizontal and vertical layouts.
To install open After Effects and go to File > Scripts > Install ScriptUI Panel... then select the "Nimble Buttons v1.0.jsx" file and restart After Effects. Alternatively, you can manually add the "Nimble Buttons v1.0.jsx" file to your Adobe After Effects "ScriptUI Panels" folder and then launch After Effects. After installation, you can launch the panel from the 'Window' menu.
In order for the panel to function properly, make sure 'Allow Scripts to Write Files and Access Network' is enabled under After Effects > Settings > Scripting & Expressions.
How to use:
Create a new button by clicking the "+" plus icon and selecting an Adobe After Effects Script (.jsx) file.
Toggle the layout between vertical and horizontal by clicking the "↕︎" toggle button.
Save your current custom buttons by clicking the "↓" save button.
